A bug is much easier to fix with your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you did just before it happened. Screenshots help.
Restore a purchase
Open More, then Settings, and tap Restore purchases.
Purchases belong to the Apple Account that made them, so sign in with that account first. A lifetime purchase and an active subscription both come back the same way, on every device you own.
Cancel the subscription
Settings has a Manage subscription row that opens Apple’s subscription screen directly. You can also get there from iOS Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then BJJ Journal.
Cancelling during the free trial costs nothing, and you keep access until the trial ends. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment, so there is nothing to cancel.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the app. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
iCloud sync
Turn iCloud sync on in Settings. Your journal then syncs through your own private iCloud, between your own devices only — it never reaches a server the developer runs.
If a device is missing sessions, check three things: it is signed into the same Apple Account, iCloud is enabled for the app in iOS Settings, and it has been online since the last change. Sync is quiet and can take a minute.
Export your journal
Settings has Export JSON and Export CSV. JSON keeps every field, CSV opens in a spreadsheet.
Both hand the file to the iOS share sheet, so you can mail it to yourself, drop it in Files, or send it anywhere else. Export as often as you like; it is your data.
Delete your data
There is no delete-everything button in the app. Deleting the app removes the copy on your iPhone.
If iCloud sync was on, the copy in your own iCloud stays until you remove it: iOS Settings, your name, iCloud, then Manage Account Storage.
