Terms of Use.

1. Licence

Your use of BJJ Journal Belt & Roll Log (the “app”) is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). Ihsan Firdaus (the “developer”) is the licensor. Where these terms and the Standard EULA differ, the Standard EULA prevails. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.

2. Free trial and products

Both prices are set per storefront and shown in your local currency in the App Store before you buy; this site does not quote them. Both products unlock the entire app. There is no free tier and no feature available only on one of the two products.

3. How the subscription works

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you do not cancel first.
• The subscription renews automatically each month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the current price.
• You manage and cancel the subscription in iOS Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy the lifetime product or otherwise start a paid subscription.
• The free trial is available once per Apple ID.

4. Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Restoring purchases

Purchases are tied to your Apple ID. Tap “Restore purchases” on the paywall or in Settings to unlock the app on another device signed in with the same Apple ID.

6. Your data

The app stores your journal on your device and, optionally, in your own private iCloud. The developer has no access to it and no copy of it. You are responsible for your own backups; the app’s JSON and CSV export exists for that purpose. See the Privacy Policy.

7. What the app is not

BJJ Journal is a journal. It records what you tell it and computes totals from it. It does not give medical, training or safety advice. Injury notes are your own words and are not a substitute for a doctor. Rule references, such as IBJJF minimum time at belt or submission legality by belt, are provided for context, may be out of date, and do not replace the rulebook of the event you enter. Train with a qualified instructor.

8. Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its bundled technique library except as the Standard EULA allows. Fonts bundled with the app are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.

9. Changes and availability

The developer may update the app, change its features, or change prices for future purchases; a changed subscription price applies only after Apple notifies you and you agree, as App Store rules require. The developer may discontinue the app; a lifetime purchase means for the lifetime of the app on the App Store, and your local data and exports remain yours regardless.

10. Warranty and liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data; direct liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the developer’s country of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence.
